We turned our hemp backpacks into a limited edition with silk screen printed linings by artist Luisa Jacinto. Same minimal design outside, extremely magical inside.
~ Luísa Jacinto is a contemporary artist based in Lisbon, she loves to explore textures and colour as means of expression. Due to the pandemic we ended up with quite a stock of our hemp backpacks. Admiring Luísa Jacinto's work we invited her to intervene in some of them as a way of upgrading them. Luísa chose to work on the inside as as she puts it "It is inside that all change starts!" .
This partnership was made possible by Escola Artística António Arroio who, very kindly, let us use their printing studios.
As with all Airosa's products it was ethically handmade in a small family run business near Lisboa. More info here. ~

Care instructions: Take good care of your Airosa so it lasts longer. Clean it using a humid cloth with a bit of detergent scrubbing in circles; do not machine wash or iron it. The ropes are detachable and you can wash them on the washing machine (just make sure to keep the knots tight).
