O Despertar da Mulher Brasileira is the first book by Brazilian photographer Jorge Abud. This artistic project was born from the author's desire to honor the pure beauty and the achievements of women, capturing in voyeuristic form their first moment of the day. The women featured in this book are real people, from different age groups and accomplished in different areas of the Brazilian scene. In this work we feel the power, the weaknesses, the seduction and the motherhood, of familiar faces such as Giovanna Ewbank, Luana Piovani, Mel Lisboa, Zezé Motta, Adriane Galisteu, Fafá de Belém, Lucélia Santos, among many others. The time noted in the photos is the instant of the first click.
